Arian is a graduate of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Tehran, with strong academic and professional training in urban planning, urban engineering, and data-driven decision-making for cities. He holds an M.Sc. in Urban Planning from the University of Tehran and a B.Sc. in Urban Engineering from the Iran University of Art, building a multidisciplinary foundation that integrates spatial planning, urban policy, and technological innovation. Arian has served as Lead for Data Science and Machine Learning in Urban Planning at the Puyashahr Think Tank, where he applies advanced analytical methods to address complex urban challenges. His professional experience includes working as a city planner at the Facilitation Office of Haftchenar–Beryanak in Region 10 of Tehran, as well as with the Tehran Office of Roads and Urban Development, contributing to community-based planning, urban regeneration, and development strategies. His research interests focus on smart mobility, urban analytics, and technology-enabled planning systems. He is currently developing a research manuscript on advancing ride-sharing services, providing a global review of emerging technologies and efficiency-enhancing initiatives. Through the integration of planning theory, data science, and applied urban practice, Arian’s work aims to support more inclusive, efficient, and resilient urban environments.
