Maryam Kachuei is a Pediatric Neurologist and Assistant Professor at Iran University of Medical Sciences, recognized for her excellence in clinical care, education, and research in childhood neurological disorders. She completed her Pediatric Neurology fellowship at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, achieving first rank in both the entrance and national board examinations, after residency training in Pediatrics and a General Practice degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Ranked among the top ten percent of graduates at IUMS and educated at NODET for gifted students, she has built a strong academic foundation. Dr. Kachuei has authored 7 scientific publications, with a focus on epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disorders, autoimmune and infectious neurological complications, neonatal COVID-19, addiction neuroscience, and rare neuropathies. She has led and contributed to multiple clinical projects on motor delay, autism, convulsive status epilepticus, behavioral effects of quarantine, patient satisfaction, and emergency medicine education, and plays a key role in national registries for ketogenic diet therapy and refractory epilepsy in Iranian children.
