Vishal K. Chavda, Ph.D., M.S., PG.Dip (Clinical Psychology), FICN, MAHA/ASA, is a neuroscientist and neuropharmacologist with multidisciplinary expertise in neurology, neurosurgery, and neuropathology, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Neurology, Division of Interventional Neurology and Endovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and previously as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuropathology at Stanford University School of Medicine, with international experience as a Visiting Fellow in Neurosurgery at the Gamma Knife Center, Garibaldi Cannizzaro Hospital, Italy. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Nirma University and has held prestigious fellowships supported by CSIR, Government of India. His research focuses on ischemic and pediatric stroke, endovascular stem cell therapy, traumatic brain injury, glioblastoma and brain metastasis, neurovascular conflict syndromes and aneurysms, vesicular trafficking in stroke, epilepsy, cognitive decline, neurodegeneration including Alzheimer’s disease, and computational in-silico modeling.
