Qing Ye, MD, is a Chief Physician and Deputy Director in the Department of Digestive and Hepatology at Tianjin Third Central Hospital, where he has devoted nearly two decades to the diagnosis and management of chronic liver diseases and their complications. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Shandong Medical University, followed by a master’s degree and an MD from Tianjin Medical University, and further broadened his academic vision as a visiting scholar at Stanford University. His clinical and research interests span chronic hepatitis B, alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, ascites, portal hypertension, esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding, and liver failure.
