Dr. Vinay S. Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Research Development Cell at Parul University, Vadodara, India, and a CSIR-Research Associate with expertise spanning soft functional supramolecular materials, green organic synthesis, and photoredox chemistry. His research centers on designing calixarene-based architectures, liquid-crystal semiconductors, and environmentally responsible organic transformations using heterogeneous catalysts. He has made significant contributions to sustainable chemistry through the development of visible light-mediated methodologies and the innovative application of deep eutectic solvents to achieve scalable, eco-friendly catalytic processes adaptable from milligram to kilogram levels.
