Gabriela-Dumitrita Stanciu (DVM, PhD) is a Senior Researcher and Head of the Animal Facility Unit at the Advanced Research and Development Center for Experimental Medicine “Prof. Ostin C. Mungiu” (CEMEX), part of the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași, Romania, where she leads and coordinates preclinical research infrastructure and in vivo experimental studies. She holds a PhD in Semiology and Medical Pathology and a BSc in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine “Ion Ionescu de la Brad,” with advanced training in neurology and neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, and international academic experience at the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort in Paris. Her research expertise centers on neurodegenerative disorders, neurophysiological and electrodiagnostic assessments in small animals, preclinical pharmacological evaluation of therapeutic agents, and comprehensive investigations of absorption, distribution, metabolism, elimination, and tissue interactions.
