Throughout my career, I have passionately committed myself to integrating traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine to advance the prevention and treatment of brain diseases, particularly ischemic cerebrovascular diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. By leading 14 national and provincial-level research projects, publishing over 130 academic papers, and contributing significantly to educational reform, I have built a strong foundation of scientific innovation and clinical excellence. With achievements recognized both nationally and internationally, and a consistent focus on combining research, teaching, and clinical work, I have significantly impacted the fields of neuroprotection and integrative medicine.

From the outset of my academic journey, I committed myself to the profound study of both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, aspiring to bridge these two disciplines for the betterment of brain disease treatment. I pursued a rigorous path of education and research, laying a strong foundation that later allowed me to integrate diverse medical perspectives. Early in my career, I developed a particular interest in ischemic cerebrovascular diseases and neurodegenerative conditions, setting the stage for my lifelong mission to innovate in these critical areas.

My professional career has been a dynamic blend of teaching, clinical practice, and scientific research, with a special focus on the prevention and treatment of brain diseases. I have successfully presided over 14 prestigious national and provincial-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Through my work, I have consistently emphasized the value of integrating traditional Chinese medicine with modern Western practices, ensuring that my clinical and research contributions are both culturally rooted and globally relevant.

🔬 Contributions and Research Focus

Throughout my research journey, I have concentrated on ischemic cerebrovascular diseases and neurodegenerative diseases, pioneering integrated approaches for their prevention and treatment. I have published 133 scientific papers, including 45 in SCI-indexed journals, with nearly 700 citations and an H-index of 15. One of my papers published in Neural Regeneration Research (NRR) has been recognized in the ESI highest citation list, achieving an impressive 97 citations. Beyond scientific research, I have also contributed significantly to educational innovation, authoring educational reform articles in the China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and editing influential academic books.

As the first author, I received the First Prize of the Academic Achievement Award from the China Association for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research.
