Seyed MohamadMehdi Moshtaghion, MD, MSc, is a physician-scientist and Senior Research Technologist specializing in advanced therapies and diagnostic biomarkers for retinal degenerative diseases, with a primary focus on retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration. His research integrates molecular biology, stem cell–based strategies, gene therapy, and artificial intelligence–driven retinal imaging to advance early diagnosis and personalized treatment approaches for vision-threatening disorders.
